Law on climate change awareness (LAW no. 7 of 1/3/2018)
In order to handle the issue of climate change, it is important to raise awareness about the extent to which the meat industry contributes to it and encourage people to switch to a plant-based diet.
ยง 1. The purpose of this law is to raise awareness of the effect meat production has on climate change and stimulate a decrease in meat consumption.
