A project by Stine Marie Jacobsen.

Law Shifters engages young citizens in law and democracy by giving them the chance to act as both judges and lawmakers. What would your verdict be to real court cases, and how would you rewrite the laws in your country so that they would be more just?

The Law Shifters project makes young people discuss their political opinions, ethical views and sense of justice as they re-judge real court cases and write new law proposals that reflect the reality that they are part of today.

With the current discussions on direct democracy, legal (un)realisable proposals from citizens could play an important role on the political stage. Law Shifters strengthens young people’s democratic education in a serious yet humorous and creative way and deals with existing regulations and legislations in Europe.

Principios generales

El Derecho reconoce que cada grupo debe apoyarse entre sí, ya que comparten características, anhelos, y problemáticas comunes, y son sus miembros, unidos, quienes están en una mejor posición para enfrentar las situaciones que se les presentan.

Es así, que en una etapa tan fundamental como la infancia, niños y niñas están llamados a respetarse entre sí y valorar su diversidad, tanto individual como colectiva.

Es por esto, que el bullying, en cualquiera de sus formas o modalidades, es completamente contrario al apoyo que entre ellos debe haber, siendo desincentivado y sancionado por cada nivel de la sociedad.

Childhood Protection Law

General principles

The Law recognizes that each group must support each other, since they share common characteristics, desires, and problems, and it is its members, united, who are in a better position to face the situations that arise in their daily life.

Therefore, in a stage as fundamental as childhood, boys and girls are called to respect each other and value their diversity, both individually and collectively.

This is why bullying, in any of its forms or modalities, is completely contrary to the support that should exist between them, being discouraged and sanctioned by each level of society.

“Se eliminan los uniformes de trabajo, excepto por aquellos que por su naturaleza te protegen”

Artículo 324.- No existirá obligación alguna de ocupar uniforme para trabajar, quedando a libre elección del trabajador o trabajadora la forma de vestirse para desempeñar sus funciones, siempre y cuando respete las normas mínimas de convivencia que como sociedad nos hemos dado.

Solo será exigible la vestimenta durante la jornada laboral, cuando ésta proteja al trabajador y sea necesaria para mantener su salud.

Chilean Labor Code

Article 324.- There will be no obligation to wear a uniform to work, leaving the worker to freely choose how to dress to perform their duties, as long as they respect the minimum standards of coexistence that we as a society have given ourselves.

Work clothing will only be required during the work day, when it protects the worker and is necessary to maintain their health.

Principles of the Right to Life

Article 2.- The Constitution and Chilean laws recognize nature as a direct source for them, in terms of its functioning and dynamism.

That is why each human being is recognized, protected and encouraged to have the right to transform until reaching full freedom, taking into account the natural development of each being, such as the metamorphosis that takes place in the butterflies of the animal kingdom.

 


Decreto N° 77 del Ministerio del Medio Ambiente

Vista la importancia de la fauna silvestre, no solo en que ella exista, sino que pueda subsistir de manera calmada y tranquila, está completamente prohibido llevar mascotas a cualquier cerro y/o montaña en el territorio nacional.

Punto 17.- Se iniciará un plan nacional para cada hogar, en el que se educará y formará a las personas, con especial énfasis en las generaciones más pequeñas, para que aprendan a cultivar alimentos, no solo en sus lugares donde habitan, sino en cualquier lugar de Chile. Para esto último, el Ministerio de Obras Públicas habilitará gradualmente lugares en los espacios públicos para que puedan coexistir frutales públicos con los edificios estructurales de cada ciudad.

Plan of action of the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Public Works

Point 17.- A national plan will be initiated for each home, in which people will be educated and trained, with special emphasis on the youngest generations, so that they learn to grow food, not only in their places where they live, but anywhere in Chile. Ley de Autodeterminación Digital

“No todos pueden ser influencer y que para esto tengan mínimo estudios del área que quieran compartir con el mundo”

Artículo 67.- Toda persona tiene la capacidad, y por tanto el derecho a influir en otras personas, por cualquier medio.

Ahora bien, en relación a los medios digitales de comunicación, una vez que la persona comience a generar contenido de manera sistemática en el tiempo, deberá acreditar su conocimiento en los temas que trata.

Lo anterior se exigirá ya que la ley quiere proteger la esencia de la influencia, esto es, que sea por la calidad de las opiniones y contenido creado, mas no por la cantidad.

Digital Self-Determination Law

Article 67.- Every person has the capacity, and therefore the right, to influence other people, by any means.

Now, in relation to digital media, once the person begins to generate content systematically over time, they must prove their knowledge of the topics they cover.

The above will be required because the law wants to protect the essence of influence, that its existence must be due to the quality of the opinions and content created, but not the quantity.

Artículo 8.- El internet es una herramienta útil a la humanidad, y por tanto, su espacio debe ser seguro para toda persona que en el ingrese. Es por lo anterior, que queda estrictamente prohibido, en lo más mínimo, cualquier tipo de actitud tendiente a acosar a otro en el mencionado espacio.

Cybersecurity Framework Law

Article 8.- The Internet is a useful tool for humanity, and therefore, its space must be safe for everyone who enters it. It is for this reason that any type of attitude tending to harass another in the mentioned space, in the slightest way, is strictly prohibited.

Título XX “De la exposición en redes sociales”

Artículo 5.- La ley fomenta y protege el espacio interno de las personas como una especie de hogar inaccesible al ruido incesante del mundo exterior.

Las personas deberán tener especial cuidado al compartir situaciones de su mundo interno y/o privado, ponderando especialmente el peligro a la seguridad que genera la exhibición de tales aspectos, a ella y su familia.

Además, estará terminalmente prohibido, y mal mirado por los miembros de la sociedad, el realizar lo anterior para obtener un fin utilitarista sobre otra persona.

Privacy Protection Law

Title XX “On exposure on social media”

Article 5.- The law encourages and protects people’s internal space as a kind of inaccessible home to the incessant noise of the outside world.

People should take special care when sharing situations from their internal and/or private world, especially considering the danger to safety that the exhibition of such aspects generates for them and their family.

Furthermore, it will be terminally prohibited, and frowned upon by members of society, to do the above to obtain a utilitarian goal over another person.
